Ahwatukee Women in Business
In addition to managing Music Maker Workshops Jessica is also the Co-Chair of the Ahwatukee Women in Business. This committee is a branch of the Ahwatukee Chamber of commerce.
The mission of this group is to empower women to evolve personally and professionally. WIB provides opportunities in leadership, development, education, community service, and networking.
Ahwatukee's 1st Business Bingo in 2021
This year WIB launched many new activities. Jessica was behind the planning and implementation of each idea. For example, WIB decided to have a Business Bingo in the spring. Businesses needed to be notified, bingo cards had to be designed, delivered and then promoted. Jessica was behind the scenes making these things happen. This helped bring awareness to local businesses.
Participating businesses include Music Maker Workshops, Ahwatukee Carpets, Pigtails & Crewcuts, Your CBD Store, Pure Barre Ahwatukee, Board & Brush, Nicholas Goode at Edward Jones, Von Hansons, Kolache Cafe, Smallcakes, Where U Bean, Fuschia Spa, Urban Air, Foothills Pet Resort, Buzzed Goat, Honey Baked Ham and Once Upon a Child.
