Romy V.
Romy is currently a student at Mesa Community College studying violin performance and will transfer to Arizona State University next year. She enjoys teaching young children as a former preschool teacher in Kyrene School District. She also has experience teaching piano and violin to students of all ages. Her teaching style focuses on creating a positive environment to encourage a lifelong love of music and designing engaging lesson plans. Romy has been part of the Music Maker Workshop family at the age of five, when she began piano and violin lessons. Additionally, she assisted with the Kindermusik program, and is now returning as a violin and piano teacher. She continues to study violin and piano at Mesa Community College and plays in the MCC Community Orchestra. When she was younger, she was concert master for the Metropolitan Youth Symphony, and was selected as a first violinist for All State Arizona in 2017. She enjoys playing classical, jazz, video game soundtracks, and composing music in her free time.
