Arizona Study Program (ASP)
Music Maker Workshops offers students the option to study the Arizona Study Program (ASP)
Students take 60 Minute Private Lessons Weekly with a ASP MMW Teacher
Dr. Kuo, Ms. Esther, Ms. Soyoung & Ms. Qi.
Students receive a written evaluation of their performance and a grade on their written theory test. Certificates and ribbons are awarded to the students to indicate their accomplishment. Plaques are awarded to those students successfully completing Elementary Division 4A and Intermediate Division 8A in repertoire, technique, and theory. Trophies are awarded to students successfully completing the Advanced Division 12A. (To qualify for these awards, the repertoire, technique and theory must be completed at the same level in the same year.)
Participants The James Anthony Award (a monetary award) is awarded to high school seniors who have successfully completed Level 12A in repertoire, technique, and theory. Upon completing 12 college music credits as a music major at a college or university, a James Anthony recipient may apply for the Arnold Bullock Scholarship.
