Education & Musical Background
Jenny is a voice, guitar, and beginner piano instructor originally from Chicago, Illinois. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education with a concentration in Vocal and Choral Education from California State University, Los Angeles.
As a classically trained mezzo-soprano, Jenny performs and teaches a wide variety of musical styles, including classical, jazz, pop, R&B, rock, and musical theatre. Her diverse musical background allows her to help students develop healthy vocal technique while exploring the music they love.
Experienced Voice, Guitar & Piano Teacher
After graduating, Jenny began teaching private voice, guitar, and beginner piano lessons at a music studio in San Gabriel, California. Since then, she has taught more than 80 students of all ages and experience levels, from beginners to intermediate musicians.
Jenny has taught both independently and through multiple music studios in California’s San Gabriel Valley and Chicago. Her experience working with children, teens, and adults allows her to personalize each lesson to the student’s goals, learning style, and musical interests.
Summer Camp Director
Jenny serves as the Summer Camp Director at Music Maker Workshops, where she creates engaging, interactive, and memorable experiences for young musicians. She has a natural ability to connect with children and knows how to make every lesson exciting, creative, and fun.
Whether leading music camps, group activities, or private lessons, Jenny encourages students to participate with confidence while fostering creativity, teamwork, and a genuine love of music. Her positive energy and enthusiasm make learning enjoyable for every student.

Jenny believes music should be both educational and enjoyable. She creates a positive, encouraging environment where students build confidence while developing strong musical foundations.
Her lessons emphasize healthy vocal technique, music reading, musicianship, ear training, performance skills, and expressive singing. She also helps guitar and piano students build strong fundamentals, proper technique, and confidence. Whether students are taking their first lesson or preparing for auditions and performances, Jenny provides personalized instruction that helps them reach their goals and become independent musicians.

Jenny loves teaching because it gives her the opportunity to share her passion for music with others. She believes music not only develops creativity and discipline but also enriches everyday life.
Her goal is to help every student discover the joy of making music while building the confidence and skills they can enjoy for a lifetime.
