Hyun Soo earned her Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Music from Kyung Hee University in South Korea and completed a Postgraduate Diploma at the London College of Music and Media. She also performed as a chorus member with the Phoenix Opera, appearing in productions of Madama Butterfly and The King and I.
Piano & Voice Lessons for Every Age
Hyun Soo enjoys teaching everyone from young beginners to adult students. She has a special gift for working with little ones, helping them build strong musical foundations through patient, engaging instruction. At the same time, she enjoys helping adult students achieve personal goals, whether they are learning for the first time or returning to music after many years.
Her piano lessons focus on proper posture, note reading, sight-reading, rhythm, and expressive performance. Students also enjoy learning their favorite songs while building excellent technique and musicianship.
Voice lessons emphasize healthy breathing, vocal technique, range development, confidence, and artistic expression. Hyun Soo teaches a variety of musical styles, including Classical, Opera, Broadway, Musical Theatre, Christian, Contemporary, and K-Pop.

Hyun Soo believes every student can succeed with the right encouragement and personalized instruction. She has experience working with students with disabilities and thoughtfully adapts each lesson to meet individual learning styles and goals.
