Education & Musical Background
Emilee earned her Associate of Fine Arts in Music from Phoenix College and continues to study and grow as a vocalist with a focus on classical voice. Throughout her musical journey, she has performed with numerous ensembles across the Valley. As a result, she brings a diverse performance background and practical experience to every lesson. She enjoys helping students develop healthy vocal technique, musicality, confidence, and expressive performance skills.
Bilingual Instruction & Mariachi Music
Emilee is bilingual in English and Spanish, allowing her to teach voice lessons in either language. She enjoys helping students and families feel comfortable, welcomed, and supported throughout their musical journey.
In addition, Emilee developed a lifelong love for mariachi music at a young age. This passion continues to influence her teaching and performing today. Combined with her classical vocal training, her mariachi background gives students exposure to a wide variety of musical styles and cultures.
Personalized Voice Lessons
Emilee is a vibrant and enthusiastic instructor with a genuine passion for teaching. She connects naturally with students of all ages. She especially enjoys working with young children while also building strong relationships with teens and adults.
Every lesson is personalized to each student’s goals, interests, and learning style. Whether students enjoy classical music, musical theatre, pop, rock, or contemporary styles, Emilee helps them build strong vocal technique, confidence, and musicianship. Most importantly, she strives to inspire a lifelong love of music.
Musical Theatre, Rock Band & Summer Camps
Emilee is one of Music Maker Workshops’ Summer Camp Instructors. She brings creativity, enthusiasm, and positive energy to every class. In addition, she works closely with teen vocalists in the Rock Band Program. She helps students improve their stage presence, microphone technique, and live performance skills.
She also prepares many students for musical theatre auditions. From selecting repertoire to refining vocal technique and audition skills, Emilee provides personalized coaching that helps students perform with confidence.
Beyond the Music
Outside of teaching and performing, Emilee enjoys crafting, baking, fashion, pop culture, spending time with animals, and making memories with family and friends. Her warmth, bilingual communication, and encouraging personality make her a favorite among students and families at Music Maker Workshops in Ahwatukee, Phoenix, Arizona.
