Elizabeth Ritchie is a highly accomplished pianist and dedicated educator with over 10 years of teaching experience. Originally from Harrisonburg, Virginia, she brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her students in Phoenix, Arizona.

Elizabeth graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from James Madison University, where she honed her skills under esteemed mentors and received specialized coaching in collaborative piano. She went on to earn a Master’s in Collaborative Piano Performance from the University of North Texas, supported by competitive scholarships and fellowships. Currently, Elizabeth is pursuing her Doctorate of Musical Arts in Collaborative Piano at Arizona State University.

As a passionate collaborator, Elizabeth has performed with instrumentalists, vocalists, and ensembles, including a prize-winning performance at Carnegie Hall in 2023. She has studied and performed with internationally renowned musicians and attended prestigious programs such as the American Institute of Musical Studies in Austria.

Elizabeth’s teaching philosophy blends her love of music as both an art and a discipline. She is committed to nurturing each student’s unique potential through creativity, imagination, and a focus on building well-rounded musicians. Whether working with beginners or advanced students, Elizabeth inspires a lifelong love of music and personal growth through her engaging, supportive, and innovative approach.
