Danielle P. teaches flute at Music Maker Workshops, where she has earned a stellar reputation for her teaching success. She brings a wealth of expertise and passion to her lessons, ensuring each student develops a strong foundation and the confidence to grow as a musician.

Danielle emphasizes mastery of essential flute techniques, including tone production, breath control, articulation, finger dexterity, and intonation. She is proficient in a wide range of repertoire, spanning classical to contemporary and other genres, and she incorporates music theory, sight-reading, and ensemble playing into her teaching. Danielle encourages her students to explore their creativity, tackle challenges, and develop a love for music that lasts a lifetime.

Danielle holds a Master’s Degree in Flute Performance from Arizona State University, where she studied under the tutelage of Dr. Elizabeth Buck. She also earned two Bachelor’s degrees in Flute Performance and Graphic Design from Northern Arizona University. Danielle has performed for renowned flautists such as Dr. Lisa Garner Santa, Dr. Magda Schwerzmann, and Professor Richard Sherman. Additionally, she has participated in Woodwind Area Recitals and performed with ASU’s ensembles, including orchestra, wind ensemble, and the Arizona Contemporary Music Ensemble.

Danielle’s dedication to both her craft and her students makes her a highly sought-after instructor, inspiring students to achieve their best while fostering a deep appreciation for the art of flute playing.
