Voice & Piano Instructor

I received organ lessons through my mom when I was 5 years old and learned piano from excellent teachers. As I participated in a women’s choir, I developed a passion for vocal music. I pursued studies in vocal and piano performance. I earned a bachelor’s degree at Pusan National University and worked in a music company arranging accompaniment music using MIDI. There, I studied jazz piano and theory under the guidance of jazz composer Panguen Lee in Korea. I further honed my jazz piano skills with Dr. Haydon in Georgia. For 15 years, I worked as a church choir director. I received a master’s degree in art from Evangelia University. Many of my students have achieved outstanding results in the Arizona Study Program. I have taught theory and piano from levels 1 to 12. I engage in chamber orchestra arrangement and songwriting, using the Finale program to arrange and compose various instrumental and vocal pieces. I taught general music, basic guitar, recorder, voice, and theory to students from elementary to 8th grade.  My greatest passion lies in helping children grow emotionally healthy and happy through learning music, and I hope to contribute to their bright future. I consider myself a passionate and caring teacher, tailoring my instruction to various genres like classical, jazz, CCM, film music, and Disney music to meet students’ preferences.
