Dr. Stephanie S.

Voice & Piano Instructor

Mezzo-soprano, Dr. Stephanie S. (she/her), versatile performer, and positive and warm teacher. Known for her charismatic and complex characterizations, she has graced stages across the Southwest and Los Angeles region and has been an Apprentice Artist with Sarasota Opera, PORTopera, and a three-time Opera Fellow awardee for the Aspen Opera Center. For over a decade, Dr. Sadownik has taught all styles and genres, ranging from classical & musical theater to pop and rock. As a teacher, she welcomes voices of all ages, genders, and experiences into her studio. She deeply believe everyone can sing and she fosters an open and safe learning environment of all voice types, abilities, and genders.  She encourages exploration of diverse repertoire for my students and promote ‘stretching’ oneself vocally and dramatically. All genres are embraced and taught through the lens of a classical vocal technique., She earned her doctorate degree in Vocal Performance from Arizona State University. She currently serves as a Faculty Associate for the ASU Voice Area and is a member of NATS.
