Annie Q

Piano Instructor

Annie loves working with children. She is a supportive teacher committed to connecting with each student individually to help them find their love for learning. In the past, Annie has designed animated Star Wars music demonstrations and rhythm-counting games for younger musicians. Annie is also the co-founder and co-president of Melodies for Communities where she established an orchestra tutoring partnership between high school musicians and middle school students.

Since moving to Arizona in 2019, she has won top prizes in several state music competitions including the MTNA Arizona Senior Piano Duet Competition, Distinguished Young Women Talent Competition, and the EVMTA Piano Competition. Prior to moving, she won first prize in the CSMTA Concerto Competition and performed with the Aurora Symphony Orchestra. In addition, she has been in demand as a collaborative pianist for the Lewis-Palmer School District Solo and Ensemble festivals and choir concerts.
