Annie is skilled at breaking down complex concepts into easily understandable steps, making learning accessible and enjoyable for her students. She has a passion for working with children and is dedicated to fostering a love of learning in each student. Annie creates engaging and creative teaching materials, such as animated Star Wars music demonstrations and rhythm-counting games, to captivate younger musicians.

As a co-founder and co-president of Melodies for Communities, Annie established an orchestra tutoring program that pairs high school musicians with middle school students, emphasizing mentorship and collaborative learning.

Since moving to Arizona in 2019, Annie has distinguished herself as both a teacher and musician. She has received top prizes in state competitions, including the MTNA Arizona Senior Piano Duet Competition, Distinguished Young Women Talent Competition, and the EVMTA Piano Competition. Before relocating, she won first prize in the CSMTA Concerto Competition and performed with the Aurora Symphony Orchestra.

Her experience extends to collaborative work, having served as a pianist for the Lewis-Palmer School District Solo and Ensemble festivals and choir concerts. Annie’s dedication to education and her ability to inspire students make her a valuable and dynamic teacher.
