The Empowerment Scholarship
The Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) program from the Arizona Department of Education gives eligible parents public funding to pursue flexible options for customizing their children's education. Students can use their ESA to take private one-on-one music lessons at Music Maker Workshops.
Music Maker Workshops is an Accredited Vendor for the ESA
The studio is an accredited vendor for the ESA. We have music teachers with Bachelor, Master & Doctorate music degrees. We provide private lessons in piano, guitar, voice, violin, viola, cello, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, and ukulele.
We have many students participating in private one-on-one music lessons throughout the year who use their ESA.
Who Qualifies for ESA
According to the AZ Department of Education Website
- Preschool students with special needs
- K-12 students with special needs
- Children of active-duty military parent
- Children of a military parent killed in the line of duty
- Children of parents who are legally blind, deaf, or hard of hearing
- Students attending a D or F-rated school
- Students residing within a Native American Reservation
- Siblings of current or previous ESA recipient
- The student who was a ward of the court
- Previous ESA recipients
