Guitar Instructor

Mr. Chulyoung is a native of South Korea, is a classical guitarist. He played as a band guitarist when he was a teenage, but meeting with Chungjin Go, his first teacher, led him to the world of classical guitar. Chulyoung completed a Bachelor of Music degree at Kosin University. He was awarded a Master of Music degree in classical guitar performance from Lee University, where he studied with Charlie Edholm. Currently, Park is based in Tempe, Arizona, and continues to study with Jiji Kim at Arizona State University. For his achievements in performing, Park was awarded a grand prize in the adult division at Korea Guitar Association International Guitar Competition, won the Student Concerto Competition at Lee University, and was a principal player of Busan Festival Guitar Ensemble. He has performed in masterclasses for Rene Izquierdo and Su Meng. He also founded El Mar Guitar Academy in Busan and contributed to local guitar music education.
