Drum & Guitar Instructor

Sean teaches a variety of instruments at Music Maker Workshops. He graduated from ASU with a Bachelor’s in Jazz Performance under the direction of Dom Moio. He has played drums professionally for over 12 years in Tempe, Arizona, performing rock, prog rock, jazz, contemporary jazz, and more. He performed regularly in combos, big bands, and Latin groups with ASU Jazz faculty Michael Kocour, Dom Moio, Jeff Libman, and Bryon Ruth. He also performed with the original jazz group, Pictures of Cake, and Tempe prog rock group Sasquanaut. Currently, he plays with a professional classic rock cover band playing anything from the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Yes, Pink Floyd, and much more. Sean is focused on piano, guitar, and vocals and performs weekly at different churches playing drums, acoustic guitar, and bass. Sean is very passionate about music and teaching and loves to pass on his enthusiasm to all his students.
