Summer Drum Competition at MMW
The summer drum competition gives drummers an opportunity to showcase their skills in a drum solo on an acoustic drum set.
The end-of-summer showcase was a success with a full house of drummers and fans!

Mr. Austen: Austen has a BMus in Jazz Performance from ASU, as well as 18 years of experience as a live performer and 10 years experience as a private educator.
Mr. Devin: Devin was in a touring band for a year and a half on the east coast and spent several years as a roadie. He has taught privately for the last 8 years. Devin's music philosophy is that there is no such thing as talent, only passion and time invested.
Mr. David: David has been playing drums and percussion over the past 17 years and teaching students for the last decade.
Mr. Alex: Alex is a multi-instrumentalist from the valley. He has been playing music since childhood and has performed around the valley with multiple groups and as a solo act. Alex’s favorite instrument to play is the guitar but he thinks the coolest instruments are bass and drum kit.
