MMW hosted an event for the Ahwatukee Women in Business
What a great event at Music Maker Workshops. This was the WIB's very first Sip & Strum event for local business owners. We had a wonderful evening sipping wine, enjoying Pita Jungle, & learning to play the Ukulele.
Thanks to our instructor Mr. Allen Mendez for teaching this group a few chords and a song. Mr. Allen provides student-driven lessons, teaching practical music skills. He focuses on fundamentals and teaching songs. Allen has his Masters degree in jazz guitar performance from Northern Illinois University May of 2019. In 2014 he received a Bachelors degree in Jazz Studies with an emphasis in trumpet and trombone from Lincoln College.
