What is your favorite part of lessons?

Leah said her favorite part of taking lessons at music makers is the amazingly kind teachers she has worked with.

What are you favorite songs to play?

Her favorite songs to sing tell a story and make her feel something emotional inside.

Leah takes lessons from Ms. Micaela.

Micaela teaches voice, piano and flute at Music Maker Workshops.

She received two Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Vocal Performance and Music Education from Arizona State University in December, 2019 under soprano Amanda DeMaris. During the 2019-2020 school year, Micaela taught general music and choir at Coyote Hills Elementary School in Peoria, Arizona. Currently, she serves as the President of Jury’s Out, an organization that brings high caliber music performances to those in the community who may not be able to access it. As of August 2020, Micaela has returned to Arizona State University to begin her Masters of Music Degree in Vocal Performance studying under soprano Carole FitzPatrick.
