Piano Competition at Music Maker Workshops

The summer piano competition gives pianists an opportunity to showcase their skills with a selected piece on an acoustic piano.

The end-of-summer showcase was a success with a full house of drummers and fans!

Dr. Kuo:  Dr. Kuo has a Doctorate in Music Composition from Texas Tech University. She has such a passion for teaching students of all ages and is very patient. Fostering a love for music and developing musical creativity brings her incredible joy. She has been teaching for over a decade and has specialized in music theory, music analysis, piano, and composition.

 

Ms. Maddie: Madison has her Master’s degree from ASU in ethnomusicology and a Bachelor’s of Music in piano pedagogy from Wheaton College Conservatory of Music in Chicago.

Mrs. Bigam:  Mrs. B is the Founder of Music Maker Workshops.  She has had the studio for over 25 years in Ahwatukee and taught for over 50 years.  The Grandmother of the studio Mrs.B provides lovely insight to musicians of all ages.
