What is your favorite part of taking music lessons at Music Makers?
I like going there and being able to talk with my teacher (Ms. Andrea) cause she really makes music exciting fun and I think it's hard for students especially my age and even younger to enjoy practicing and learning music. She makes it so much easier, fun, and always asks me how everything is going and she is making me inspired and excited to continue music into college. She also encourages and supports me with my clarinet playing as well!
What is your favorite song to play and why?
"My current favorite song would be, Elgar Cello Concerto simply because its opening statement is so cool and it's just overall a very powerful piece"

“Magnus is an exceptionally talented student. He is a member of the Phoenix Youth Symphony as a cellist and also qualified for Regionals on Clarinet. He plays multiple instruments and excels at all of them! He has a bright future as a musician!”
Ms. Andrea is a graduate of Boise State University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music (Cello) and Graduated Magna Cum Laude. She earned a Master's Degree in Music in December of 2017 from ASU School of Music. Ms. Andrea provides structured lessons and uses step-by-step instruction to break down information. Lessons are customized for each student. She provides transparent communication and encourages parents to attend lessons. She provides exceptional private cello instruction for children and adults—beginner to advanced level as well as beginning piano. Andrea has been teaching at MMW for over a decade!
